About This Project

The Sharpenstein Kitchen project embodies a harmonious blend of functionality and modern aesthetics, transforming a previously underutilized space into a vibrant culinary haven. Our team undertook the significant task of removing the original cabinets, paving the way for a more efficient layout that maximizes storage and countertop space. This thoughtful redesign allowed the refrigerator and range to be integrated seamlessly into the kitchen's overall flow, making them feel like integral components of the culinary experience rather than isolated appliances. In pursuit of a contemporary look, we also removed outdated paneling, opting instead for a fresh coat of paint that brightens the entire area. The chosen neutral tones create an inviting atmosphere, enhancing the kitchen's overall appeal and ensuring that the space feels open and airy. The cabinetry selected for this project features Shenandoah Cottage White cabinets, which provide a classic yet modern touch, perfectly complementing the Allen and Roth Beechnut countertop with a stylish bevel edge. To add visual interest, we incorporated Carmel Glass Stone Mosaic backsplash tiles, sourced from Lowe's, which serve as a stunning focal point against the smooth cabinetry and countertops. The flooring features Natural Timber Cinnamon Porcelain tiles, also from Lowe's, which not only enhance the kitchen’s aesthetic but also offer durability and ease of maintenance—ideal for a busy kitchen environment. The final elements, including the sleek WFC150M0EW stove, WMH31017AW microwave, and WDF540PADW dishwasher, were carefully selected to blend functionality with modern design. The result is a beautifully crafted kitchen that captures the essence of contemporary living while providing the necessary tools for culinary creativity. The Sharpenstein Kitchen is now a space that invites family gatherings and culinary adventures alike, reflecting both style and practicality.
