About This Project

Yardbusters Landscaping At Yardbusters, we enjoy re-imagining outdoor spaces into beautiful landscapes that express our client's dream and improve the landscape of the property. One of our wonderful s located in Marietta, Roswell, and East Cobb, demonstrated our commitment to quality, creativity, and craftsmanship. This whole landscaping , involved a complete remake of a suburban yard and all its behavior, that was tailored to the client's lifestyle. First, we conducted a meeting with the client to figure out their needs. The client expressed desires for low-maintenance gardens, colorful flower beds, and an outdoor entertaining space. The included a beautiful stone patio with locally sourced flagstone, for an elegant and permanent space for an outdoor gathering. It had a matching custom fire pit with natural boulders, creating an environment suited for late-night gatherings. We used various perennial plants and ornamental grasses, that would work in the local ecosystem, for year-round appeal without causing upkeep. One challenge with the design is the steep slope slope in the back yard, which could have made the yard unusable. Our group worked to design a tiered garden using retaining wall systems from reclaimed timber, to create a series of flat levels. This made the backyard accessible without compromising style and depth. The had ample opportunities to implement green building practices and materials, including water-efficient drip irrigation systems or utilizing native plants for inputs to support wildlife. The client appreciated the detail to attention and eco-practices and was even happier to see how their outdoor experience had been improved with the new layout. The end result was truly stunning for the clients. The plants provided for bursts of color and the new outdoor spaces with function were positive, serene places for families to gather and friends to host and entertain guests.
