Front Yard Paver Design and Install Completed by: JRB Lawn Care and Landscaping Recently in Bangor, PA, JRB Lawn Care and Landscaping completed a wonderful - the design and installation of a beautiful paver walkway to a cozy home. The client approached us wanting a welcoming entryway that matched the architecture of the house, while increasing curb appeal. Our team kicked the off by looking over the existing landscape and discussing the client's vision. The design featured a lay out of interlocking natural color pavers that worked beautifully with the design. Our team selected a high quality and durable paver, which offered a slip resistant surface to avoid accidents. One challenge that we ran into was the slope of the property. Our team was able to overcome this with modern leveling techniques in order to establish a strong base for the pavers. This effort was important to mitigate settling prior to the final prep and installation. Drainage solution was also incorporated into the design to address rain run-off during storms, to accommodate both the installation and the adjoining landscape. As the went on, we decided to incorporate some landscaping work as a part of the design scope. The walkway, when framed with columns of native plants and ornamental grasses on either side, added finished texture and height to the entryway. We were able to merge hardscaping with softscaping, and took an infinite amount of pride with the final product. When the job was done, the client could not have been happier with the end product! The paver walkway provided adequate path and movement, and also created an eye catching point of interest and conversation piece for neighbors.
