Outdoor Kitchen by Scapes Environmental Design Transforming outdoor spaces into usable, beautiful spaces is the hallmark of Scapes Environmental Design. Our latest , the "Outdoor Kitchen" is a case in point! From the vibrant communities of Atascocita, Houston, Humble, Kingwood, New Caney, Patton Village, Porter, Porter Heights, and Roman Forest, we took on the challenge of creating an outdoor space fit for culinary exploration, all surrounded by lush landscaping. The began with a full design consultation. Through the consultation process we worked closely with the homeowners to capture their need. We implemented quality materials and selected durable, weather-resistant stone for the countertops, accented by a beautiful brick façade to tie into the existing architecture. The built-in grill was the main design feature, along with a large cooking prep area and custom cabinetry to satisfy every culinary need. One of the largest challenges was the site's existing backyard that was not level. This obstacle required grading work as well as some extensive drainage ideas to promote the longevity of the kitchen outdoor cooking space. Our professional team instinctively discovered a cohesive solution with a drainage design to ensure nothing pooled under the new aesthetic cooking space. The end result was simply stunning! The outdoor kitchen was real centerpiece of the backyard space with the brightly colored plants providing an exquisite backdrop for family gatherings and entertaining. Ample lighting and a new cozy seating area changed the overall character of the space for year around use. We could not have dreamed better as our clients were thrilled with their new outdoor space that captured their ultimate vision in the backyard!
