The Modified Mod project represents a stunning transformation of a traditional bathroom, showcasing a harmonious blend of classic design and modern functionality. The scope of this project involved a comprehensive renovation that reimagined the space while retaining the timeless charm of traditional aesthetics. The design choices were meticulously curated, emphasizing elegant lines and classic materials that evoke a sense of warmth and comfort. The focal point of the bathroom is a beautifully crafted freestanding soaking tub, strategically positioned to invite relaxation and tranquility. Surrounding the tub, we selected natural stone tiles that create a seamless flow throughout the space, enhancing the traditional appeal while ensuring durability and ease of maintenance. The color palette reflects soft neutrals and earth tones, which work together to create a serene environment. Complementing the tile work, custom cabinetry was designed and built to maximize storage without compromising style, featuring intricate moldings and a rich, polished finish. Lighting played a crucial role in enhancing the atmosphere of the Modified Mod bathroom. We incorporated a combination of recessed lighting and elegant sconces, strategically placed to provide both task and ambient lighting. This thoughtful arrangement not only illuminates the space effectively but also highlights key design elements, such as the stunning vanity area with its marble countertop and classic fixtures. The craftsmanship in this project stands out, with every detail considered to ensure functionality and style.
