Tenafly Retreat by Artisan Landscapes and Pools The stunning 'Tenafly Retreat' by Artisan Landscapes and Pools is located right in the middle of Tenafly Nj. With our team behind the scenes, we turned this residential property into a tranquil escape where contemporary design meets the natural landscape. This has a beautiful tiered garden, utilizing local plantings that grow well in the climate, making for a sustainable and maintenance-free option. Visitors are welcomed via a bluestone path sourced locally that weaves amid lush gardens bursting with flowering perennials and ornamental grasses. We valued this opportunity and decided to put a custom water feature because it gives a very pleasant sound to the architecture and adds on the retreat feeling. One of the difficulties we encountered was having to blend the existing topography with new shapes. Our talented landscape architects labored to pare off the layout and implement natural stone retaining walls to deal with changes in elevation while providing visual interest. Eco-friendly mulch along with permeable pavers highlighted our environmental responsibility. Over the course of the , our craftsmen did an incredible job as always executing their craftsmanship the lighting that lights up the pathways at night, the wooden pergola that was built and designed to provide the shade during the day and serve as the gathering area. We combined aesthetics with functionality as well and the final result left the client extremely happy and proud of their new outdoor space! This gorgeous 'Tenafly Retreat' is a shining example of the craftsmanship and artistry that we are able to achieve at Artisan Landscapes and Pools, translating lifestyles into beautiful landscapes realized throughout New Jersey, from Bergen County to Morris County.
