Previous Work by Rim Country's Rock N Yard At Rim Country's Rock N Yard, we are passionate transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful landscapes that represent our clients' visions. Our most recent , titled "Previous Work," highlights our dedication to quality and craftsmanship in Bullhead City, Fort Mohave, and nearby locations including Ft Mohave, Katherine, Laughlin and Mesquite Creek. The landscaping involved an entire reconstruction of the client's backyard which proved challenging given the uneven ground and previous hardscaping which needed to be preserved and included within the new build's design. We began with site analysis and the site itself sparked our creative thoughts as we thought the best way to unify the site and deliver a beneficial outdoor experience for their family. We integrated a combination of landscaping features, with a range of native drought tolerant plants suited to this part of the climate to render a sustainable and low maintenance garden. The design included a gorgeous stone pathway which was made from local flagstone that naturally walked guests through the lush greenery with boulders throughout the landscape to give height and interest. Moreover, we wanted to advance the outdoor experience by including a custom fire pit centered to seating as an outdoor gathering place for family and enjoyment to unwind at the end of the day. There were high quality materials such as reclaimed wood for the seating and a raw/natural look while also withstanding the weather elements and time. Even with the design in place, the existing irrigation presented a challenge as we were able to repurpose the irrigation, while building out the system for the new planting. Our experienced team dealt with the complexity, innovation in their work took place to be able to build an efficient watering system to meet the plant need of the garden. The results was nothing short of spectacular. Our clients were excited the moment it was completed because their poorly featured backyard had become a flourishing piece of paradise, mirroring their lifestyle and the love of nature. The depth of landscape and inviting hardscaping in the garden features provided the atmosphere of a magnificent retreat experience any time of the year.
