Pool Landscapes by Pure Perfection Landscape and Services Inc. At Pure Perfection Landscape and Services Inc., we love creating beautiful outdoor living spaces. Our most recent , "Pool Landscapes," exemplifies what we work toward every day, no matter the location; this made for clients located in the beautiful Argyle, Saratoga Springs, Lake George, and beyond. This began with the complete redesign of a residential pool area that needed love. Our work included the challenge of designing function as well as aesthetics to incorporate the pool area into existing landscape. The first step was to remove the old concrete surrounds along with the overgrown plants, improving circulation while also opening up a new space for a fresh and modern look. For the pool deck, we used natural stone pavers. Natural stone is a great choice for its durability and classic look. Besides being built to last, the natural stone has beautiful warm tones that work well with the existing landscape surrounding the pool, which creates a welcome feel. To improve the overall experience, we constructed a custom stone retaining wall with natural stone that provides functionality while also improving the visual appeal. The wall was also strategically designed to prevent erosion for the area while framing the pool area beautifully. Key to creating an oasis-like feel was the addition of lush greenery. We included a blend of ornamental grasses, flowering perennials, and evergreen shrubbery. Adding these elements not only provided beauty year-round, which offers solitude and some privacy, but also again, improved the overall design. Lastly, the addition of solar landscape lighting highlights those same plants at night. It creates a magical feel for evening gatherings. One of the challenges with this was working with the slope of the existing lot. To take it a step further, we came up with a tiered plant design approach both addressing the slope for drainage while giving some depth and dimension to the overall landscape. The thoughtful addition of boulders and river rock in the adjacent garden beds also provided natural drainage while encouraging the visual flow through the garden. In the end? A beautiful, functional outdoor landscape that exceeds the clients' expectations, and best of all, a blend of functionality and beautiful aesthetics. Finally, the clients can now enjoy their tranquil escape with their family or for entertaining guests, it is an oasis.
