The primary focus of this landscape renovation is the spacious, multi-level patio equipped with top-tier natural stone pavers. We selected these pavers for their durability and aesthetic appeal, while providing a welcoming surface that perfectly complements its surrounding greenery. The addition of a thoughtfully designed step not only offers easy access to the patio, it also gives an additional feel of sophistication as guests move through the outdoor space. As per usual, we came across the typical challenges of working on a sloped backyard on this . We utilized brushing methods of grading to maintain drainage and stability to the patio while ensuring there would be no future erosion. All of these methods complimented each other, and also allow for the use of native plants around the patio. With the native plants used to provide beauty while ensuring sustainability to the newly complete patio space. The completed of 'Patio with a Step' has turned out to be an extraordinary outdoor space that exceeded the expectations of the client. The versatile space for entertaining or unwinding with a cup of coffee has turned this patio into a favorite spot for family and friends to gather together.
