Westside Lawns, Inc. is proud to present our latest landscaping installation: the 'Artificial Putting Green,' installed for a discerning client in Beverly Hills. This high-end embodies what we stand for: quality and craftsmanship, whether you live in LA proper or Bell Gardens, Culver City, or Santa Monica. The began with a thorough site evaluation for optimal exposure and accessibility to the area we wanted to put the green. Once we were able to settle on a site for the putting green, we expertly excavated the area and laid a great foundation that would support the synthetic turf we chose to install. We ordered high-quality (UV-resistant) synthetic putting green grass that resembles the look and feel of grass, combined with durability and minimal maintenance. Furthermore, we customized undulations and bunkers to create a realistic appearance of a golf course but also added to the challenge for any golf enthusiast. We also included LED lighting so the client could practice putting in the evenings. The lighting creates an ideal spot for an elevated evening experience, and a private oasis in the backyard. We faced the challenge of an existing drainage system that required some minor yet strategic changes to uphold proper water runoff. We put in a highly-sophisticated drainage system that would keep the surface intact, preventing pooling underneath the surface of the putting green. Ultimately, we created an amazing artificial putting green for the entire family, one that is fun for leisure or entertaining guests. Our client was elated and astutely commented on how well the putting green was integrated as landscaping into their outdoor experience, with the execution being a worthwhile value.
