3D Design Attribution: Avalon Management, Lake Forest, CA The 3D landscaping overhaul, a premier landscape design within the heart of Lake Forest, CA, is presented to you by 3D Solutions 3D Design: Avalon Management This ambitious was the carefully crafted assembly of a large outdoor landscape focused on form and function. Based on this brief we worked on regeneration which creates a coherent area with greenery dynamic and paths leading to the different public areas. Through the use of natural stone pavers, drought-tolerant plants, and sustainable irrigation systems, we created a landscape that not only enhances the beauty of the space, but promotes stewardship of our environment. A diverse pallet of native plants display colours in seasons with limited irrigation needs. Our biggest hurdle was addressing the variance in elevation around the site, as well as the longstanding issues with drainage. Our experts made a careful assessment and engineered the solution so that it optimizes the flow of water while maintaining a sustainable landscape under the wide variety of California weather. The end result is truly an amazing outdoor space that acts as both a recreational space and a sanctuary for the people that live in and visit the island. The client was ecstatic with the turnaround and specifically noted the quiet balance between form and function.
