Ponds by Earth Works Here in Earth Works we know that a well planned landscape can turn any outdoor area into an oasis. Called Ponds, our latest is proving that we are dedicated to quality and craftsmanship for the coastal communities of Atlantic Beach, Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, Palm Valley, Ponte Vedra Beach, and Sawgrass. One of the s included a beautiful bio-pond environment with two ponds that is in perfect harmony with nature. We used locally sourced stones and environmentally conscious materials to ensure that the ponds were composed in such a way that they were visually appealing, but also conducive to local wildlife. Another significant challenge we encountered was dealing with the natural water run-off and drainage in the area we had to come up with creative ways to avoid flooding the newly established ponds. Using advanced techniques such as biofilters and natural plant barriers, our team created a sustainable ecosystem that works hand-in-hand with its environment. The end result was a spectacular setting combining the ponds with native plantings, and a peaceful retreat for our fauna and clients alike. Hearing the flowing water singing with different colors of flowers around the lovely yard brought life to the yard that seemed ordinary before. The end result was appreciated by our clients who were pleased with the attention to detail & susceptibility of there ponds with the existing landscape. Not only did it transform their outdoor living space but it also increased the overall value of the property.
