This one of a kind is a stunning example of the quality and craftsmanship performed by DabneyCollins and serves the wonderful communities throughout Anderson, Central, Clemson and beyond. The design process started with a thorough analysis of the site, which facilitated our team to discover the specific challenges posed by the topography and existing plant life of the landscape. The main aim was to design a peaceful oasis that provided not only beauty but also a usable outdoor living area. With the use of locally sourced, sustainable materials, we created natural stone and paver pathways to help navigate visitors through the gardens and towards the seating areas. Adding to its aesthetic charm is a custom water feature which is the true focal point of Intown Oasis, as it draws both the eye as well as local wildlife, while providing lulling ambient sound. Not only does this offer the visual appeal, it also acts as a feature you can spend time lounging around or contemplating. There were issues of inadequate soil drainage and limited sunlight in some locations. Our experts addressed these problems by installing proper drainage systems and by choosing shade-resistant vegetation that does well in the conditions. The combination of durable perennials, herbs, and ornamental grasses were then selected for their seasonal interest and durability. And the result is nothing less than spectacular. With cozy alcoves for reading, dining areas for hosting, and seasons of gardens bursting in bloom, the Intown Oasis has felt like a retreat, a home.
