The Dunrobin bathroom project embodies a seamless blend of modern aesthetics and classic charm, resulting in a serene and inviting space. The transformation began with a bold decision to refresh the space by painting over the dark oak wood finishes with a soft antique white faux finish, instantly brightening the room and creating a more open, airy feel. This choice not only enhanced the light but also complemented the overall spa-like color scheme that was introduced throughout the space. The original light fixture was replaced with a contemporary option that harmonizes well with the updated finishes, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication. This careful selection of lighting was integral in creating a warm ambiance, making the bathroom a perfect retreat for relaxation. The project capitalized on the bathroom's good bones; with a solid foundation already in place, the makeover became a delightful and effortless endeav. A focal point of the design is the stunning antique glazed vanity, which was previously stained walnut oak. By retaining the timeless solid surface countertop and the beveled mirror, we preserved elements of the original design while breathing new life into the vanity with a fresh finish. The combination of the antique glazing and the contemporary lighting creates a striking visual contrast that elevates the overall aesthetic. To complete the transformation, new paint and carefully chosen accessories were introduced, enhancing the contemporary feel while ensuring that the space remains functional.
