This is a great example of our endeavor for building cohesive outdoor spaces that not only continue the beauty of the surrounding but also the lifestyle of the client. We started the process with a site evaluation to determine the best place and way to make this happen. We wanted a water feature that would complement its natural surroundings, so we used high-grade natural materials from local sources rocks, boulders, gravel and a thick pond liner to produce an attractive, functional, resilient, and environmentally friendly landscape feature. The pond is not just for looks, though; it supports native wildlife a hospitable marriage of native aquatic plants providing habitat and forage for frogs, fish, and beneficial insects. One of the more difficult aspects was getting circulation and filtration without compromising the aesthetics of the pond. The biofilter system is a cutting-edge biofilter system installed by our skilled artisans, and the quiet waterfall will keep the water clean and healthy but also sound nice throughout the garden. In the end we ended up creating a stunning ecosystem pond that gave our client a focal point of peace and beauty in their back yard area. Set among greenery and natural stone walkways, the pond provides a luscious place to sit and contemplate.
