Luminaire is a striking architectural project that harmoniously blends lightness and coziness, creating an inviting atmosphere both inside and out. Nestled in the scenic surroundings of Cape May Point, NJ, this residence showcases a unique butterfly roof design, featuring translucent corrugated roofing on its northern side. This innovative choice allows natural light to permeate the space throughout the day, with the soft hues of dawn and dusk shifting dynamically to the bold contrasts of midday. The interplay of light and shadow adds a layer of intrigue and warmth, making the home feel alive with the changing seasons. The craftsmanship involved in Luminaire is evident in the deep eaves and rafters, which provide not only structural support but also a rich texture that enhances the exterior aesthetic.
