The structure is elevated on concrete piles, a thoughtful design choice that preserves the delicate formation of the ever-changing sand berms, allowing the natural environment to remain undisturbed. As guests approach the retreat, they are greeted by a bold red door that serves as a striking focal point against the subdued gray backdrop of the Northwestern coastal scenery.
