Originally designed in the early 90s, the space featured a small shower and an oversized corner jacuzzi tub framed by large block windows that did not resonate with the homeowners, Ed and Pat. Upon acquiring their new home, they were eager to remodel and create a sanctuary that reflected their taste and lifestyle. During the demolition phase, Ed and Pat took an active role by removing the old tub themselves, finding the process both therapeutic and rewarding. The design choices made during the remodel focused on maximizing space and enhancing natural light while maintaining privacy. The outdated tub/shower area was replaced with a spacious walk-in shower, featuring a strategically placed high-light window. This thoughtful addition allows for an influx of natural light, brightening the area while ensuring privacy. The craftsmanship in the shower design is evident, with sleek fixtures and elegant tile work that create a spa-like atmosphere. Attention to detail is further showcased in the custom vanities and linen cabinets, designed to resemble built-in furniture pieces.
