We encountered our own challenges as a team, which included a steeply sloped site, and sandy soil characteristic of the coastal landscape. These issues were addressed through a terraced garden that used native drought-tolerant species to ensure sustainability in the dry environment while also being able to withstand strong coastal winds. This same home features amazing perennial colors, boulders that mimic natural dune and bring the home down to the lake edge mixing grasses and the garden together. Among them: A premium construction quality is found in the use of local stone for pathways and rustic wood pergola for shading while framing stunning views of the lake. This included an advanced irrigation system that ensures healthy growth while maintaining water efficiency, a perfect example of our commitment to environmentally friendly practices. The end product is an outdoor oasis that brings the client both aesthetic and functional joy.
