Ground Control Landscape Management Ground Control Landscape Management is pleased to announce the finalization of its Landscape Design & Installation located within the communities of Kings Mountain and Cherryville. Working directly with the client, our team transformed an outdoor space into a beautiful and functional retreat. It was a full landscape design, with colorful flower gardens, natural stone pathways, and a water feature creating peaceful surroundings. We chose plants that are drought-tolerant to keep it low-maintenance and provide some color throughout the seasons. Working on the property itself was not without challenge, one of the most pressing being the slope of the land that required an adaptable approach to create a robust visual presentation. In a landscape where every foot matters, our landscape architects created tiered planting beds using retaining walls made from locally quarried stone to beautify the landscape and manage erosion. Many people tend to use ambient lighting as an extra touch, but it helps to enhance the overall space and since we had a beautiful garden, we used lighting that will accentuate the best features of the garden in the nighttime making it ideal for evening gatherings. We also built an outdoor patio area with custom-build wooden benches and fire pit for family and guests. The end product blew the client away, taking the underutilized back yard and turning it into a beautiful refuge that feels tied in with its environment. Ground Control Landscape Management, whose diligent work on the property not only made for great curb appeal, but also provided a nice bump to market value. This reaffirms our commitment to quality, creativity and customer satisfaction.
