About This Project

The Carraway Project, initiated in 2017, focused on revitalizing a worn and deteriorating deck in Little Rock. This project was driven by the client’s concern regarding the safety and aesthetic appeal of their outdoor space, particularly with regards to the visible rotting and warped wood that compromised both the integrity and beauty of the deck. Upon assessment, it was clear that the top piece of wood, along with several other sections, required replacement to ensure a safe and inviting environment. To address these issues, we carefully selected high-quality, weather-resistant materials that would not only enhance the structure’s durability but also elevate its overall appearance. The decision to use composite decking materials was pivotal; these materials are known for their strength, longevity, and low maintenance requirements, making them an ideal choice for outdoor applications. Our skilled craftsmen meticulously removed the damaged sections, ensuring that the underlying support structure was sound and ready to receive the new materials. Throughout the renovation process, we prioritized design choices that would complement the existing architecture of the home while incorporating modern deck design ideas.
