The idea was to create an inviting atmosphere where friends and family could come together to share dishes made from homegrown ingredients, fostering a sense of connection to both the land and each other. The event was designed to be both rustic and elegant, featuring a long table adorned with simple yet charming dec. Rented tables were complemented by an eclectic mix of borrowed chairs from friends, adding a personal touch to the setting. The table was styled with seasonal flowers, burlap runners, and candlelight, creating a warm ambiance as the sun set and stars began to twinkle overhead. Guests appreciated the DIY spirit of the event, as everyone contributed a dish made from their own gardens, resulting in a diverse and delightful menu that celebrated the harvest season.
