The New Kitchen and First Floor Remodel in West Chester, PA, represents a stunning transformation that combines functionality and elegance. This project involved a complete redesign of the kitchen, coupled with an extensive remodel of the entire first floor to create a cohesive and inviting space. Central to this renovation is a magnificent large island that serves as the heart of the kitchen. By removing a half wall that previously separated the kitchen from the morning room, we achieved an open layout that enhances the flow of natural light and invites interaction. The island features a spacious farm sink, a state-of-the-art Miele speed oven, a sleek dishwasher, and abundant storage, making it not only a stylish focal point but also a practical workspace. Complementing the island are exquisite granite countertops in Fantasy Brown that harmonize with the surrounding decor, while the custom distressed cherry upper island top adds a unique texture and visual interest. The craftsmanship extends to the Fieldstone cabinetry, which showcases a Stratford door in a Dove painted finish, designed with stacked wall cabinets that reach the ceiling. These cabinets incorporate lighted glass upper sections, providing an elegant display space for cherished items. The backsplash, featuring 3x12 Walker Zanger Café kettle crackle tiles, is laid in a classic subway pattern with a herringbone design at the hood and range area, adding a contemporary twist to the overall aesthetic.
