The Pantry & Play Room project, completed in Savannah, GA in 2017, exemplifies a thoughtful approach to enhancing two of the most utilized spaces in our client's home. With a budget of less than $1000, the goal was to create an organized, functional, and visually appealing environment that caters to both storage needs and playtime activities. The design began with a comprehensive assessment of the existing pantry and playroom layouts, identifying cluttered areas and underutilized spaces. We implemented a strategic organization system that maximizes storage efficiency while ensuring easy access to frequently used items. For the pantry, we chose modular shelving that can be adjusted to accommodate various sizes of pantry goods. Clear storage bins were incorporated to separate items, allowing for quick identification and retrieval. The addition of labels further enhanced organization, transforming the pantry into a visually cohesive space that invites use. In the playroom, we focused on creating an engaging environment that stimulates creativity and play. We selected vibrant colors for the walls, fostering a lively atmosphere.
