About This Project

The Stone & Stucco Outdoor Kitchen project in Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania, transformed an inadequate and cramped kitchen space into a stunning, functional outdoor oasis tailored to the family’s lifestyle. The original kitchen lacked the necessary flow and functionality, primarily due to the fireplace being positioned too close to the exterior wall. The clients expressed a desire for a larger island, an eat-in kitchen, a walk-in pantry, a dry bar, and dedicated office space for the busy mother of the household. To bring this vision to life, we strategically bumped out the exterior wall, allowing for an expansive layout that promotes both comfort and efficiency. The design celebrates the character of the original space while introducing modern elements to enhance usability. Natural stone and stucco materials were chosen for their durability and aesthetic appeal, creating a harmonious blend with the surrounding landscape. The stonework adds a rustic charm, while the stucco finish offers a smooth, sophisticated contrast, complementing the outdoor environment beautifully. Craftsmanship was paramount throughout the project, with skilled artisans meticulously constructing the outdoor kitchen. The centerpiece is the oversized island, which serves as both a functional cooking space and a gathering spot for family and friends. The eat-in kitchen design encourages casual dining, making it the perfect locale for enjoying meals al fresco. The walk-in pantry was thoughtfully integrated to provide ample storage, while the dry bar enhances the entertaining experience, making it easy to serve refreshments during gatherings.
