Landscaping '2017' by Creating Sustainable Landscapes, LLC In 2017, Creating Sustainable Landscapes, LLC completed a landscaping demonstrating our quality and sustainability values in Canton, Farmington, Keego Harbor, and Novi. This is displayed a functional redesign of a residential property to improve aesthetics and environmental fit. Our began with a thorough site analysis to help our team identify unique opportunities and challenges. The design included native plants that are well-suited to environmental conditions in Michigan, conserving water and improving biodiversity. The plan featured a beautiful mix of perennials and ornamental grasses to provide seasonal color. A special element of the design included a permeable stone patio to furnish a wonderful outdoor living space while addressing drainage issues, allowing rainfall to filter back into the ground. The design used locally sourced bluestone patio stones, providing a wonderful natural look in the landscape. An additional challenge was a slope in the backyard, which we turned into a terraced garden that used natural boulders and methods for sustainable soil erosion control to create visual interest and usable space for planting and recreation. The final outcome was an attractive and aesthetic landscape designed to delight our clients. They particularly valued how well we blended function and beauty. The landscaping transformed their outdoor living experience, and our prior work reinforced our values that are centrally creating landscapes that meet our clients' needs and respect the environment.
