'Cover' by Georgia Landscape and Tree Service Located in the inner city of Atlanta, the 'Cover' showcases the artistry and skill of Georgia Landscape and Tree Service. The was a landscape redesign that sought to enhance the aesthetics and functionality of the client’s outdoor area, creating a peaceful getaway from city life. The began with site analysis, which allowed us to design the with the characteristics of the property articulated. Our talented landscape architects created a delightful combination of native plants, ornamental grasses, and flowering perennials that maintain environmentally responsible and year-round beauty while supporting regional biodiversity. The sustainability of materials was another critical theme: we used locally sourced stone for the pathways and retaining walls so that our garden maintained the natural aesthetics of the landscape as well as durability from changes in the weather. The steep slope of the property was one of the challenges posed to the contractor; we needed to design solutions for erosion control while accomplishing an inspiring presentation. Our team designed tiered planting beds and used natural stone to create pots that aesthetically produced terraces that controlled slope erosion into the garden while contributing dimension and depth to the garden. We also installed an efficient and thoughtful irrigation system which provided plant health, as well as water efficiency. Finally, we completed the outdoor living space with an entertaining area custom-designed fire pit, accompanied by comfortable seating around the fire place and special lighting to create a desirable setting in the evening. The end result was a beautiful outdoor terrace with a well-thought-out design that seamlessly blended utility and beauty, leaving our client full of excitement in their backyard oasis.
