About This Project

The Classy/Cozy Kitchen project transformed a medium-sized existing galley kitchen into a functional and timeless space that seamlessly blends elegance with comfort. The primary challenge was to maximize the counter-top area while providing ample storage to accommodate a variety of culinary tasks. Our design team meticulously analyzed the existing layout, identifying opportunities to enhance its functionality without compromising on style. The project commenced in 2017, and the vision was clear: to create a kitchen that not only serves as a cooking area but also as a warm gathering space for family and friends. We selected high-quality materials that reflect a classic aesthetic, including custom cabinetry crafted from durable hardwood, which was finished in a soft, inviting color palette. The cabinetry features thoughtful storage solutions such as pull-out shelves and deep drawers, ensuring that every inch of space is utilized efficiently. Countertops were upgraded to a luxurious granite, chosen for its timeless appeal and resilience, providing both beauty and practicality in daily use. The installation of a small seating area was a crucial element of the design, allowing for casual dining and socializing without disrupting the kitchen’s workflow. Careful consideration was given to the placement of modern appliances, which were integrated seamlessly into the design, enhancing functionality while maintaining a cohesive look.
