Hardscape Design Gail Hartz & Associates At the heart of the upscale neighborhoods of Houston, Gail Hartz & Associates unveils 'Hardscape Design,' which serves as a hallmark of the landscaping genius. With a unique, yet simple backyard, the team formerly special serving Bellaire, Bunker Hill Village, Hedwig Village and River Oaks, convert an average backyard into a backyard to feel normal. The itself was a combination of natural stone paths with thoughtful placement of elegant retaining walls with custom patios that created both functionality and beauty. We used high quality, durable materials such as locally sourced flagstone, handsome pavers, and top grade granite to withstand the elements of the Texas climate. Uneven terrain proved to be one of the main challenges and unique solutions were required to give the layout a balance. Gradient experts applied expert grading methods, providing draining while beautifully composing the landscape. The result was a beautiful outdoor patio with multiple levels, ideal for entertaining and a fire pit flanked by greenery. Careful positioning of seating areas and pathways increased accessibility and promoted in-situ naturalisation within and throughout the garden.
