Contemporary Fire Pit , Vintage Landscaping Vintage Landscaping is excited to announce and share our most recent which is the Contemporary Fire Pit , designed and built for a client in Lancaster County. This is located in the client's peaceful backyard in the quaint town of New Holland, which highlights our focus on the quality in construction and the value of aesthetics. The main focus of this is a large modern fire pit that was built from natural stone that is durable and heat resistant, and fits nicely into the existing landscape. The fire pit creates an inviting gathering space, perfect for entertaining and relaxing on cool starry nights. When the fire pit was designed, the seating area adjacent to it was also carefully designed. The seating area included built-in bench seating made from reclaimed wood to promote sturdiness, comfort, safety, and rustic charm. We overcame the challenge of incorporating a fire pit into an existing landscape, complete with mature trees and tiers of unlevel terrain. We accomplished this through grading techniques while maintaining the natural beauty of the site. Lighting was included in the to add a soft ambiance to the space, making it welcoming during nighttime as well as the daytime. We also completed the with native plants used throughout the landscape to enhance the fire pit and to create color and texture throughout the seasons. When mixing modern design and natural landscapes, the end result provided for enjoyment and transformation of the outdoor living space and delighted the client.
