Landscape Beds Amerilawn Product Description: At Amerilawn, we did some landscape beds at a residential property in the Elkhorn community where homeowners travel from Bellevue to Papillion. The property was given a much needed curb appeal, and this focused making it sustainable while keeping it easy to maintain. The design of landscape beds which related to existing architecture and used the best quality materials such as local stone edging and organic mulch and a palette of perennials and ornamental grasses were all focused upon by our detail oriented staff. Well, not over the bare landscape but over the tiles that were to remain, leaving him to figure out how to keep dust storms from sweeping through the windows; here, plants selected for our climate promise, with constant monitoring of watershed levels, a lovely, bloom promising landscape, low on water and upkeep. The land is slope-y, which would have affected drainage and health of the plants if we had not removed that first layer of soil. Our knowledgable landscapers graded the land and set up an advanced drain off systems so they would not get water logged and would grow strong and healthy. The result was a vivid tapestry of flower beds overflowing with floral life complemented by perfectly-shaped stone borders that provided structure and elegance. The client expressed their delight with how the result met their expectations and that the landscape beds both add visual interest to their home's exterior as well as create a welcoming feel for family get-togethers and outdoor enjoyment.
