The Pool House Bathroom project in Chapel Hill, NC, showcases a remarkable transformation that blends functionality with modern aesthetics. Originally dominated by an overwhelming green palette, this lower-level bathroom underwent a comprehensive redesign aimed at enhancing both usability and visual appeal. One of the most significant changes involved the reduction of the lengthy vanity countertop, which previously restricted entry into the space. By shortening the vanity while maintaining a stack of drawers on either side of the sink cabinet, we created a more open and inviting layout that facilitates easy access. The design choices reflect a commitment to contemporary elegance, characterized by the installation of white Shaker cabinets featuring slab drawers that offer both style and ample storage. The countertop, crafted from sophisticated white and gray quartz, complements the overall color scheme while providing a durable and easy-to-maintain surface. An undermount sink, paired with sleek chrome fixtures, adds a touch of modern luxury to the bathroom, enhancing its functionality without sacrificing design. An essential aspect of the renovation was the expansion of the stall shower, which not only improves the bathing experience but also maximizes the space's potential. The shower now features a knee wall topped with glass, which opens up the area and creates an airy feel, making the bathroom appear larger and more inviting.
