Featured Ridgehaven, A Four Seasons Landscape Design and Build The Ridgehaven is an example of the creativity and skill of Four Seasons Landscape wrapped up in the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. From the beautiful places of Cashiers, Cullowhee, Glenville, Highlands, Lake Toxaway, Sapphire, Franklin and Lake Keowee, we renovated this outdoor space to be a guiding light. Our first step in the was to survey the property so that we could learn its unique idiosyncrasies; its topography, its microclimates etc. We designed a cohesive landscape with native plants, stone paths, and site-specific concrete walls, which are all locally sourced and built to preserve integrity and aesthetics. Incorporating native plants, which supported biodiversity and required less water, not only beautified the landscape but also made it more appropriate for the surrounding environment. We had a very distinct set of challenges to work with since the property had a very steep slope and needed creative solutions to address erosion as well as creating usable outdoor areas. Our team expertly implemented a series of terraced gardens and drainage systems that tackled both of these challenges while creating an aesthetically appealing feature within the landscape. The result is a beautiful outdoor oasis comprising of colourful flower beds, greenery and gathering spaces with fire pits and seating. Clients can sit with their morning coffee watching the view from the former site of a wasteland, looking out over a wildlife garden that blooms as the seasons progress. As the progressed, our eye for quality and careful craftsmanship was evident in the way that each stone was perfectly set, every plant just right. And the delighted responses from our clients are confirmation that Ridgehaven is more than a landscape it’s a masterpiece of nature, artistically arranged by Four Seasons Landscape.
