Located in an East Side townhouse, this project entailed a comprehensive redesign, moving away from the conventional racecar beds to an innovative layout that features an array of engaging activities. The most striking element is the custom rock-climbing wall, which not only serves as a focal point but also encourages physical activity and play. Complementing this are a punching bag and a mini basketball court, creating a vibrant atmosphere where imagination and energy can thrive. The design approach taken by Perianth prioritizes both functionality and aesthetics, ensuring that the room remains organized despite its adventurous offerings. The incorporation of loft spaces is a clever solution to managing clutter, providing ample storage for books, trophies, and an impressive collection of action figures. Built-in storage solutions are seamlessly integrated beneath the beds and below the windows, maintaining a clean and spacious environment that parents will appreciate. The use of circular cutouts, backed with Velcro and filled with removable ping-pong balls, adds a playful element while promoting creativity and interactive play.
