Nickens Lake Subdivision Proudly Landscaped by Alford's Landscaping LLC, a beautiful community deep within the landscapes of Louisiana, Nickens Lake Subdivision. Our team transformed this subdivision into a beautiful neighborhood and with years of experience and big ideas designing your dream home was a given for us, serving areas such as Baton Rouge, Central, and Denham Springs. With an ideal combination of native plantings, stunning hardscapes, and outdoor living areas meant to complement nature, the was a work of art. Using durable materials like stone sourced from local quarries for walkways and retaining walls, our team built beautiful solutions to last. New plant beds with perennials and ornamental grasses to build the plant biodiversity, colour at different seasons of the year and interest (both animal and human) all year long. The existing topography included slopes and drainage issues were one of the major challenges we faced. This landscape had to function and live through the typical large amounts of rain this area sees, so we created solid grading solutions and a top of the line drainage system. The end result was a stunning landscape that flows with nature, including accessible walkways, flower beds, and gathering areas. The client was delighted with the results, thanking us for building a warm, welcoming environment that physiologically moves people outside to interact with each other and enjoy their outdoor spaces.
