The Eco-friendly & Contemporary Asian project, located in Burlingame, CA, represents a harmonious blend of modern architectural design and sustainable living. This new construction showcases a contemporary Asian-inspired aesthetic, characterized by clean lines, open spaces, and a seamless integration with nature. As the Interior Designer on this project, collaborating with TRG Architects and Cartmell-Tam Construction, we prioritized eco-friendly materials and sustainable building practices throughout the design process. The home is Green Point Rated, reflecting our commitment to environmental responsibility and energy efficiency. We utilized high-performance materials that not only enhance the home’s aesthetic appeal but also contribute to its sustainability. The design features large windows that invite natural light, while strategically placed overhangs provide shade and reduce energy consumption. The interiors are adorned with natural finishes and textures that echo the surrounding landscape, creating a tranquil yet luxurious living environment. One standout feature of the home is the basement swim spa, a perfect example of innovative design merging functionality with aesthetic charm. The pool area is enhanced by a stunning custom tile mosaic, depicting a wave pattern that adds a dynamic visual element to the space. This swim spa not only serves as a private oasis for relaxation and exercise but also exemplifies our dedication to high-quality craftsmanship. Throughout the project, every detail was meticulously planned and executed, from the selection of eco-friendly materials to the final touches in interior finishes. The outcome is a residence that embodies contemporary elegance while promoting a sustainable lifestyle, showcasing the potential for beauty and environmental stewardship in modern home design.
