About This Project

The Luciano Kitchen project transformed an outdated space in a 1960’s ranch style home into a contemporary culinary hub, perfectly tailored for homeowners who cherish cooking and entertaining. The existing kitchen did not align with the modern aesthetic that permeated the rest of their home, prompting a complete remodel to create a seamless flow and stylish design. One of the primary challenges was the poor traffic flow caused by a peninsula adjacent to the sink, which not only obstructed movement but also limited functionality. Additionally, a swinging door leading to the dining area created awkwardness during meal prep and serving. The homeowners expressed a desire to eliminate the window box above the sink, allowing for a more open and airy feel. This decision laid the groundwork for a sleek and modern kitchen design. The project utilized high-quality materials, including custom cabinetry with clean lines and a contemporary finish, paired with stainless steel appliances that not only serve a functional purpose but also contribute to the overall aesthetic.
