Gates by Golden Woods Nursery And Landscape Elise GordonGolden Woods Nursery And Landscape is proud to present "Gates," a beautifully completed landscaping that raised the outdoor-artistry bar for our clientele in the Rancho Santa Fe area. An appeal for beauty and functionality inspired this which fused nature with bold architecture chic. At the heart of this there is a beautiful bespoke gate that has been made from reclaimed timber and features wrought iron detailing to reflect elements of the architectural history of the area. This beautiful entrance is now surrounded by a mix of native plants, ornamental grasses and low-water use succulents, flowing into a colorful but low maintenance garden that works with our local coastal climate. We faced many challenges, one being varying terrain throughout the property that needed to be tactfully graded and drained to ensure the landscaping would stand the test of time. Our expert team used permeable pavers and natural stone walls for both beauty and water management. The end product is an outdoor space that is inviting and that brings not only visual appeal to the curbside of the property but also an escape from the home for those who live there. Every feature, from the winding walkways to the behavior of the lights, was custom created to stir warmth within the welcoming atmosphere. The clients themselves were delighted with the outcome, stating how impressed they were with the quality of work and finish.
