About This Project

The Mt. Adam's project in Cincinnati, OH, showcases an exquisite transformation of a well-maintained kitchen into a warm and modern space designed for both functionality and entertainment. Although the original kitchen was in good condition, the homeowners desired additional cabinetry and a larger island to enhance their cooking and hosting experience. In response to their vision, we strategically shortened a wall to create the necessary space, allowing for the seamless integration of a more expansive island. To achieve a sophisticated aesthetic, we selected walnut for its rich, warm tones, paired with high gloss white cabinetry to provide a striking contrast. This combination not only breaks up the darker hues but also adds a contemporary flair that resonates with the homeowners' love for wood. The design includes a large serving area ideal for entertaining, complete with a wine unit featuring refrigerator drawers, ensuring that guests are always catered to with style and convenience. Meticulous attention to detail was paramount throughout the project. All cabinets were custom-built by local craftsmen from A. Flottemesch, ensuring quality and a perfect fit within the space. The installation was expertly managed by Drake Construction, whose skilled labor brought the design to life with precision and care. The result is a kitchen that embodies a timeless appeal, combining modern elements with warm finishes to create an inviting atmosphere. This space not only meets the practical needs of the homeowners but also provides an environment where family and friends can gather, dine, and create lasting memories. The Mt.
