The engages the beauty of the area while preserving the natural mountains with dwarf pines within an active space for the and a welcoming home for the homeowners. Stepping back to assess this prompt broke down the school and more integrated many of the landscaping elements, such as a beautiful flagstone pathway that runs throughout native planting, all sourced locally. Not only does this plant selection make the landscape beautiful, its sustainable nature contributes to the landscapes ability to survive in Denver’s ever-changing climate. A fire pit flanked by natural boulders draws the eye, and seating accents establish cozy spots to relax. The sloped terrain presented one of the most significant challenges to the . Blue Lotus Outdoors used ingenious grading and placed terraces carefully to create level areas for planting and sitting, all the while adhering closely to the natural site contours. As a result, with such planning, we were able to maintain existing trees and make them part of the design, which was a huge advantage in terms of aesthetics as well as ecological harmony. The end result is an amazing outdoor retreat that has left the clients nearly speechless! The Castle Pines was completed in the fall of 2016. A beautiful retreat with hardscape and softscape coming together with quality craftsmanship. They are so happy that their new indoor-to-outdoor living spaces allow the immense natural beauty that surrounds them to be front and center in their lives.
