About This Project

The Grey & White Kitchen project embodies a harmonious blend of sophistication and functionality, featuring full overlay doors that enhance the modern aesthetic while offering ample storage solutions. This transitional kitchen, crafted with meticulous attention to detail, showcases a full overlay style reminiscent of European frameless designs but incorporates a robust 1" face frame construction, ensuring durability and longevity. Towering at 107 inches, the tall full-height cabinets create an impressive visual impact, seamlessly blending practicality with elegance. At the heart of this kitchen lies a stunning 10-foot by 38-inch island, equipped with a workstation at one end and topped with a rich walnut butcher block that adds warmth and character. The island is designed with double panel sides and an abundance of drawers, including specialized pot drawer storage, maximizing efficiency and convenience. A custom wood hood, measuring 42 inches wide, is adorned with panels on the front and embellished with wood corbels below, one of which features a unique built-in spice storage spot, demonstrating a clever approach to kitchen organization. The furniture-style farmer sink and tall double door upper cabinets with glass inserts elevate the kitchen's charm, while the small applied molding door style enhances the overall craftsmanship. The grey island and wet bar, painted in a color matched to Chelsea Gray by Benjamin Moore, contrast beautifully with the main cabinets, which are finished in the soft, inviting hue of White Dove, also by Benjamin Moore. Further enhancing the kitchen's functionality, the design incorporates Subzero refrigerator and freezer towers within a custom enclosed 52-inch cabinet, alongside a dedicated double oven cabinet, ensuring every culinary need is met. This project, completed in Bolton, MA, in 2017, exemplifies high-quality craftsmanship and innovative design, resulting in a handcrafted kitchen that is as practical as it is aesthetically pleasing.
