Retaining Wall Contractor York County PA - Ryan's Landscaping Ryan's Landscaping, based in Hanover, PA, had the pleasure of completing a wonderful retaining wall for a lovely client in York County PA. We service a wide variety of areas such as Abbottstown, Bonneauville and East Berlin PA. The was to turn a difficult hillside into a usable and attractive and appealing landscape feature. In doing so, we constructed a sturdy, tiered retaining wall to help stabilize the hill and also enhance the space aesthetically. The wall was constructed out of durable, natural stone that was sourced locally because it had a timeless look. The wall was constructed with precision to ensure proper drainage as well as stability in the event of the unpredictable seasonal weather the area experiences. One of the most challenging aspects of the was the changing soil composition and vegetation that was already present and needed to be removed. We planned thoroughly and decided on an effective drain solution to help mitigate water catching and holding in the soil. The staff went above and beyond in their attention to detail and put in a French drain system behind the wall that allowed water to flow properly. The drain protected the wall and maintained the rest of the landscape. Once the was completed, the client was very happy the wall. The client had a perfect mixture of usability and beauty. The retaining wall was used as a way to stabilize the hill, but also act as a beautiful backdrop for their garden and outdoor space. This fulfilled our mission statement at Ryan's Landscaping for quality of work and customer satisfaction.
