Granville Front Yard TM Garden Design is proud to present our called the 'Granville Front Yard' , which represents the aesthetic value and usefulness of landscape architecture. Located in the friendly community of Granville, this front yard renovation represents our commitment to quality work and good design. Having serviced customers in the greater Columbus area, including places such as Gahanna, New Albany, and Westerville, we have designed the front yard renovation with a home in mind. After an initial consultation with the homeowners and discussing their vision for a welcoming yet elegant space that connects to their classic Colonial home, we were able to assess and achieve the ion. We went to work to assess the layout of the space and incorporate a variety of native plants, a variety of ornamental grasses, and new flower beds that showcase blooms all summer. The final product reflects proper function and clear use-paths for the homeowners and their guests throughout diligent review of the use of durable natural stone for walkways that lead to the front door. At one point, we needed to add to the strategy of using the slope of the landscape in our favor and consider a number of grading solutions to guarantee drainage of water would function, and not disrupt the overall visual of the landscape. Our team was able to use some creative use of retaining walls, with stone from a local quarry, to create tiered planting beds and easy drainage from an otherwise full landscape that will not only improve drainage but also provide depth and visual for the yard. The end product of our work is a beautiful front yard that benefits form functionality and visual design. With native and old perennials, graceful lighting that accents the architecture, and a lush and full landscape, it invites you to discover and enjoy pieces of the garden landscape. Simply put, the homeowners love how the front yard looks and how it stands out from other houses in their neighborhood. They are excited how the renewed landscape has added to its curb appeal and has become their escape space near the front of their home.
