Summary: Bellevue by Sam Millar Landscaping The Bellevue , Michael overseeing a beautiful transformation by Sam Millar Landscaping, demonstrates the best modern landscaping in Seattle. This was an enormous and had the design of an entire landscape, breaking down the old uninspired landscape to create a dynamic yard. One of the most beautiful components of the Bellevue is the variation in multi-tiered designed garden beds using premium local stone that best fits the existing natural grades. The beds would be layered in all native plants, so they can be sustainable, relying on existing plants native to Seattle, and designed for year-round interest. The perennials, ornamental grasses, and flowering shrubs provide landscape aesthetics, while also supporting biodiversity. In addition, the included custom patio installation using durable and weather resistant pavers, which is ideal for entertaining or relaxing in the sun! The patio also had very attractive outdoor lighting to highlight the landscaping features as well as provide ambient lighting in the evening. One of the major challenges to the Bellevue was the steep-grade on the property that challenged design and drainage. Sam Millar and his team developed a full drainage solution utilizing underground systems and rain gardens to allow water to appropriately flow away from all landscaped areas. This allowed for not only the longevity of the landscape spaces but also helped with environmental sustainability. The end is a breath-taking landscape that utilizes everything natural to the site and gives the homeowners an oasis from the busy city of Seattle. Overall, the Bellevue executed the homeowners aesthetics and improved their outdoor living experience, similar to the many other values under Sam Millar Landscaping. Delighted the home-owners are now watching the vibrant greenery grow every day, assimilating to their home and yard and experience with Seattle.
