The clients sought to elevate their home’s aesthetic, moving away from a mundane first impression to a striking representation of their design vision. The remodel began with the exterior, where outdated single lite windows in the dining room’s bay were replaced with divided lite windows, enhancing the traditional architectural style of the home. This change not only improved the visual appeal but also allowed for better natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. To further enhance the entry, the front stoop was painted in a dark taupe color, adding a touch of drama and sophistication to this critical access point. Upon entering through the newly designed entry door, guests are greeted by a reimagined staircase that was once an obstructive element. The staircase was expertly reconfigured to flow straight into the hallway, creating an open and welcoming entryway that draws visitors into the heart of the home.
