About This Project

Sitting Walls by RC Custom Landscape & Stonework At RC Custom Landscape and Stonework, we work hard to make outdoor spaces a usable escape. This recent , 'Sitting Walls,' was an excellent example of our craftsmanship and innovative spirit. The was located in some wonderful urban and suburban communities, including the Black Forest, Cimarron Hills, Colorado Springs, and beyond. Ultimately, this was to provide its owners with both functional space to sit, and visual appeal. To paraphrase, we were tasked with creating sitting walls that merged into the existing landscape, but also provided extra value in terms of strength and durability. Using all natural stone material sourced locally, we created unique walls that would provide comfortable sitting spaces, while also preserving the aesthetic of outdoor enjoyment in a beautiful form. We used granite and sandstone, which is a great material for our Colorado climate because of its resilience to unpredictable weather, strength, and minimal upkeep. To address the softer side, we incorporated plentiful native plantings that reflected a good balance between hard-scape and soft-scape, adding even more ambiance to the setting. The sitting walls were purposely placed for views of the landscape that also provided a great setting for our clients to entertain, or just relax. After completion of this , the client was satisfied with the transformation. It not only met their seating needs, but also brought another level of functionality to the garden, where family and friends could gather and enjoy. The fruits of the collaboration, education, and exploration of opportunities built positive relationships through problem solving and imagination and exceeded the client's expectations for outdoor space enjoyment.
