Andalusia by TD Desert Development Completed by Teserra Outdoors, the Andalusia is an example of the creative and innovative landscaping in the deserts of Southern California. The fits seamlessly into the breathtaking desert views as it embraces our functional and beautiful design, embodied in its own micro-climate, as it relates to the region's specific environment. There were many challenges in the such as rocky ground and limited water resources that plague most desert s. We responded by thoughtfully designing the space to include crowd-friendly, sustainable native plants such as agaves and succulents, that make an impact and still grow during limited watering events. We also used well-crafted and sourced materials such as locally sourced stone for decorative paths and composite-type decking for its durability and outdoor living capabilities to complement and as an investment in maintenance and beauty. Among the features of the , the custom-built fire pit encircled by various seating configurations, for entertaining and enjoying the peaceful desert evenings, standouts. A water feature was also included in the design to provide not only an ambience of sound, but also a future habitat for local wildlife, and to create and provide motion. When the site was completed, it was truly a magnificent outdoor space that aligned precisely with the client's vision, but even better than they had imagined. The association of the lush plant material and spaces for gathering, along with the integration of natural elements that we used took a good outdoor design to its own outdoor retreat. We continued the investment of the and incorporated sustainable practices for our clients landscape for the property value and for their enjoyment for years to come.
