Outdoor Fire Pits by Landscape Solutions At Landscape Solutions, we finished a wonderful outdoor fire pit recently, which has become an attractive part of one of our client's backyard design in the city of Albuquerque. The custom-built fire pit was intended to be a gathering spot to meet with friends. The fire pit is a reflection of not only quality workmanship but also creative landscaping. The building of a nice round fire pit which provides natural stone seating that blends into the landscape. We used local flagstone for the living space on the outside of the fire pit which provided a durable surface along with the rugged look that fits comfortably into the New Mexico landscape. We also added nice place landscape lights that will help allow for evening gathering under the stars. One of the objectives of the was to deal with what is commonly rocky soil. This soil type provides challenges due to the need to dig underground and set a nice base with a reasonable degree of quality that would provide soundness to the building of the fire pit area. The team did an extraordinary job working with a rocky soil condition. Using their skills and all of our other materials, they were able to create a nice level base to establish the foundation of the play space. The fire pit area created a nice warm inviting space that our client could use for roasting marshmallows while sitting by a nice toasty fire, but also an additional value to the property. It was great to hear how excited our clients were the when they noticed how much their family and friends enjoyed using the space. At Landscape Solutions, we take pride in the ability to create nice, functional, and yet beautiful outdoor spaces that are consistent with our clients' lifestyles.
