The Private Residence, Shipping Container Modern, is a stunning testament to innovative design and artistic expression, completed in 2018. This custom-built home exemplifies the seamless integration of modern aesthetics and sustainable living. The client's directive for creativity allowed for a unique vision that transformed standard shipping containers into a one-of-a-kind dwelling, characterized by its striking architectural elements and thoughtful craftsmanship. At the forefront of the design is the enchanting see-through lit koi pond, elegantly framed by LP fire bowls that provide a warm ambiance both day and night. The foundation, featuring a pier and beam setup with LED under-lighting, not only enhances the home’s visual appeal but also highlights its modernist style. The façade showcases a harmonious blend of industrial materials and artistic details, with brilliant verdigris copper doors and matching upper panels that lend a vibrant contrast to the neutral tones of the exteri. Inside, the residence boasts a spacious industrial loft layout, complete with reclaimed girders and sleek cable railings that echo the home's modern theme. Dramatic floor-to-ceiling glazing on the front elevation invites natural light while offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. A thoughtfully designed see-through LP fireplace serves as a focal point, bridging the indoor and outdoor spaces and enhancing the atmosphere of the living area.
