About This Project

The Outdoor Living project showcases a transformative deck renovation designed to enhance functionality while minimizing maintenance for the homeowners. Initially, they appreciated the existing rail and its aesthetic appeal, but after years of upkeep, they sought a more durable and low-maintenance alternative. Our proposal centered around the use of Azek, a high-quality PVC trim material renowned for its resilience. This innovative choice ensures that the newel posts will not rot and remain impervious to water and insect damage, providing long-lasting structural integrity. To maintain the visual charm of the deck while improving its durability, we selected Azek Rail in a Reserve style. This particular rail design was ideal for the Bergen County home, as its scale complemented the overall architecture, enhancing the property’s curb appeal. While Azek Rail may not suit every residence due to size considerations, it proved to be an excellent match in this instance, marrying beauty with functionality seamlessly. The craftsmanship involved in this project was meticulous, ensuring that every detail was executed to perfection. The newel posts were custom-fabricated to align with the aesthetic vision of the homeowners while adhering to strict structural requirements. The smooth, clean lines of the Azek materials were chosen not only for their practicality but also for their ability to take paint exceptionally well, allowing for customization in color to fit the homeowners' style. Ultimately, this renovation resulted in an outdoor living space that not only enhances enjoyment but also significantly reduces upkeep. The homeowners can now relish their outdoor environment without the burden of constant maintenance, enjoying both the beauty and functionality of their new deck.
